Business Intelligence Architect/Expert (MicroStrategy)
Zilliant is an established market leader in margin optimization and management solutions. Zilliant has encapsulated years of experience/know-how into a pre-packaged Business Profitability Analytics product to allow companies to gain key business insights to improve profitability. Zilliant has developed this capability from years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution markets and uses the MicroStrategy platform to facilitate providing value added solutions to its customers.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as the Business Intelligence Technical Expert in the Solutions organization
- Support customer implementations:
- Conduct customer meetings and internal design sessions to determine the necessary configuration settings and customizations
- Perform advanced application configuration tasks like schema design, security, complex reports and documents
- Collaborate with Technical and Business Consultant during configuration process
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in the areas of advanced reporting/analysis, data and application integration and performance
- Collaborate with other Architects and Engineers on architectural/design considerations, best practices, and issue resolution strategies
- Develop, document and share design and implementation best practices
- Act as primary point of contact with Product Management group
- Assist in the training and mentoring of technical staff
- Assist in the technical aspects of new product release management and enablement process
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in CS or MIS
- 10+ years implementing software applications and software integration projects
- 5+ years of Business Intelligence architecture and design including:
- Dimensional modeling and design
- ETL process
- Multi-dimensional databases experience
- BI Analysis/Reporting tools
- Expert on MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Suite (versions 8 and 9)
- Expert with SQL and SQL optimization techniques
- Expert with MDX and MDX optimization techniques
- Experience on SQL Server and MS SQL Server Analysis Services
- Full life cycle project experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working and mentoring technical teams
Location:
- Flexible with 25% - 50% travel to Austin and customer sites

Customer Success Manager (CSM)
The Customer Success Manager is an integral role to the value a client gains by using Zilliants Software as a Service. This role is essential as the customers partner in pricing providing the highest level of customer service and pricing leadership in the industry today.
Once the customers solution is in production, the CSM becomes the day to day go to person for business questions, data explanations, and help and guidance on action planning. The CSM is both a management consultant and accountability partner who will use their knowledge of the Zilliant solutions to drive pricing improvements that exceed the value expectations. Ultimately the CSM is accountable for maintaining the revenue stream from their customers subscription renewals by creating bottom-line value for their customers.
Responsibilities:
Key customer facing responsibilities include:
- Co-develops the customers annual success plan with ongoing quarterly and monthly enhancements
- Accountability partner in driving pricing initiatives to success
- Analyzes customers pricing data to understand, foresee and proactively provide solutions
- Assistance in building end user training and enablement plans that further usability and adoption goals
- Manage all customer facing communications and presentation of value attainment on regular basis
Key internal responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with Practice Directors and other staff to ensure that all commitments made to customers are met, consistently and on-schedule
- Cross functional position - get involved in QA, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales efforts - you'll wear many hats, and you'll learn a lot
- Be the customer's advocate for product feedback and changes into Product Management
- Develop training, documentation and FAQs that help the customers help themselves
Skills/Experience:
- BS in Management Information Systems preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; high level of business acumen is required
- Good working knowledge of pricing principles and practices in B2B selling environments preferred
- Good interpersonal/customer relations skills; clear and concise verbal and written communicator
- Good working knowledge with change management practices, communications and process re-engineering
- Good working knowledge of business intelligence tools (Microstrategy preferred)
- Experience with data manipulation (Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables, SQL, Access or other database usage)

Pricing Consultant
The Pricing Consultant is a pivotal role in the successful implementation of, and value realization from, Zilliants margin management solutions. This person operationalizes the Zilliant solution design by driving the customer software requirements definition, configuration, testing and training processes. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Design of software configurations that meets the needs of the customer
- Comprehensive data analysis
- User interface designer that leads customer through screen and configuration selection
- Auxiliary trainer that assists Zilliant training department during end user training
- Product planning resource that collaborates with internal groups to plan and prioritize future software releases
- 50% travel required
Skills and Experience:
- 2-5 year consulting experience
- BS or BA, MBA preferred
- Strong business acumen, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong quantitative skills; a working knowledge of micro-economics, statistics, and optimization techniques
- An good understanding of Pricing processes in a B2B environment, manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Work product creation and delivery (e.g., solution design documents, product requirements / test plans, analytical findings and presentations)

Project Manager
The Project Manager is a key role on the Zilliant implementation projects charged with team organization, timely project delivery, and high quality results. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful completion of Zilliant implementation project milestones, deliverables, and tasks. This may involve oversight and/or coordination of teams comprised of Zilliant, alliance partners, contractors and client personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintains project plans
- Manage resource requirements based on project tasks and deliverables
- Manages project cost, schedule, scope, and risk
- Provide governance structure and work with teams to monitor/drive stakeholder management and communications
- Manages day to day customer relationship, communicates project status, and develops a strong working knowledge of customers business
- 50% travel required
Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 or more years of enterprise application or Software as a Service (SaaS) implementation experience
- BA or BS, Advanced degree in a related field and/or Master Certificate in Project Management preferred
- Experience leading and successfully managing a project team (with resource and issue/change responsibilities) through a full life-cycle implementation
- Experience in supporting business development opportunities through proposal creation, review and presentation
- Experience in the end-use of enterprise level application software products such as Price Execution, Price Management, Order Management, Optimization, OLAP, Data Mart/Data Warehouse products and tools is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of pricing strategy and tactics in a B2B environment is desired
- Superior client facilitation, presentation, and excellent communication skills
