Chairman, President & CEO
Greg Peters is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Zilliant. A seasoned executive with direct experience in building early-stage companies with a customer-centric approach, Peters oversees all of Zilliant's operations, including its strategic direction, product planning and development, as well as its financial management. He also sits on the board of directors at Planview and Surgient.
Prior to Zilliant, Greg served as president and CEO of Vignette, the leading content manager company and one of the most successful initial public offerings in 1999. Under his leadership, Vignette increased the number of customers from 80 to 1,400 and successfully integrated three acquisitions. He also served as president and chief executive officer of Logic Works, Inc. where he successfully navigated the company's rapid expansion into the enterprise business intelligence market. Prior to Logic Works, Inc., Greg served as controller and chief financial officer for Micrografx, Inc. and held several financial positions at DSC Communications Corporation.
Peters is an accomplished speaker who has appeared at numerous leading industry events. He was awarded the Texas E Comm 10 Award, one of 10 leaders chosen for their impact and commitment to driving the digital economy in Texas. In 2000, he was recognized as one of the most influential executives and innovators in Computer Reseller News editor's list of the Top 25 Executives. In addition, Peters was named to Upside magazine's Elite 100 list as one of the top business leaders in 2000, specifically for gambling on the technology industry and
emerging victoriously.

Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Tim Hamilton has 20 years of experience in global technology sales and sales management with large publicly traded enterprise software companies and market-making start-ups. Tim is responsible for Zilliant's World-wide sales and marketing efforts and manages the company's District Managers as well as the pre-sales Business Solution Consultants. He joins Zilliant from Ariba where, as Senior Vice President of North American Sales, he drove the company's transition from a B2B eProcurement software provider, to an Enterprise Spend Management solution provider. Prior to Ariba, Tim co-founded Novera, a successful Java Application Server company that was acquired by Mercator. Previously, he led sales at Brixton Systems (acquired by CNT) and e-commerce pioneer Open Market, and started his career with Bolt, Beranek and Newman (BBN). Tim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of New Hampshire.

Senior Vice President of Engineering
Beth Weeks brings over 20 years of technical software industry expertise and engineering leadership to the Zilliant team and is responsible for all aspects of engineering, product development, documentation and quality assurance. Previously, she spent seven years at Vignette Corporation where she gained valuable experience building an enterprise content management application suite. While at Vignette, she directed the engineering teams in delivering numerous software applications containing content management, portal and eCommerce capabilities. Prior to Vignette, Weeks held several engineering leadership roles while working for Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama. Weeks graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with degrees in both computer science and mathematics.

Vice President of Product Management
Pete Eppele brings over 15 years of product strategy experience working with Fortune 500 companies using analytical technology to improve business performance. As Vice President of Product Management, Pete is responsible for defining the product lifecycle and requirements for the Zilliant Precision Pricing Suite. Prior to Zilliant, Pete served as Vice President of Product Marketing at Yclip. Pete has also guided and managed product direction for two successful acquisitions, KDI (acquired by Net Perceptions) and Kelly Information Systems (acquired by Peoplesoft). At KD1, Pete managed their highly scalable data mining and decision support applications used by Walgreens, Lowe's Home Improvement and Pepsi/Frito Lay. At Kelly Information Systems, Pete had development and implementation responsibility for an analytical product line that analyzed multi-terabyte data warehouses. Pete has also worked in consulting and product development roles with Category Management, Inc. and Procter & Gamble. He earned his B.B.A. in Quantitative Analysis and Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati.

Vice President of New Business Initiatives
Eric Hills brings more than fourteen years of experience at start-up and enterprise software companies. He most recently served as general manager at Siebel Systems where he was responsible for overseeing all marketing strategies for the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) and Incentive Compensation Management business units. Prior to Siebel Systems, Hills founded Austin-based Partnerware Inc. and served as president, CEO and chairman. While at Partnerware, Hills pioneered the front-office application space for indirect channel management. He also worked for Chevron Chemical Company and was an officer in the United States Navy. He holds a BS from Clemson University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from University of Texas where he won the prestigious global MOOT CORP competition.

Vice President of Professional Services
Deke Keating brings to Zilliant over 16 years of technology solutions and development experience. Deke manages Zilliant’s professional services staff, the training team, and the production support organization. Since arriving at Zilliant in 2003 he has been a driving force behind the Solutions group’s consistent year over year growth in revenue and personnel. Deke most recently served as Senior Group Manger in Siebel System’s Global Services Operations Group and as Senior Practice Manager in Siebel’s Order Management Center of Excellence. Prior to Siebel he held many leadership positions in the development and services organizations at several enterprise software companies including OnLink (acquired by Seibel) and SmartDB Corp. His professional services background began at Andersen Consulting managing the implementation of several different ERP products including multiple installations of PeopleSoft FMS. Deke was an officer in the United States Navy. He holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of California, Davis.

Vice President of Pricing Excellence
Rafe VanDenBerg has more than 15 years of experience driving enhanced growth and profit in distribution and manufacturing environments. An early-adopter of optimization technology, Rafe is responsible for advancing Zilliant’s best-practices, thought-leadership and value-realization methods. Prior to joining Zilliant, he was the CEO of consulting firm BDXI. Previously, Rafe was the marketer behind a successful online distribution start-up, where he drove annual sales to over $500 million in four years and expanded operations into Europe and Asia. He has also held a number of executive-level marketing and pricing positions in global manufacturing and distribution companies. A prolific writer, Rafe has authored and published dozens of articles on business development, sales and marketing, and profitable pricing.

Vice President of Pricing Science
Loren Williams is the Vice President of Pricing Science for Zilliant responsible for the statistical and optimization capabilities of Zilliant's products and services. He brings over 18 years experience in designing, building and deploying modeling-based technology solutions for some of the most successful and innovative companies across a range of industries. Prior to joining Zilliant, he was Chief Architect for Pricing Solutions at Retek (now Oracle Retail). Dr. Williams also spent ten years as a consultant and director with Manugistics in their Pricing and Revenue Management division. Dr. Williams designed many pricing, forecasting and optimization solutions for companies in B2B distribution, building products, telecommunications, technology manufacturing, travel and retail industries. Prior to his graduate studies, he held a number of domestic and overseas leadership positions with Westin Hotels. Dr. Williams is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and has published in both professional and trade journals. He holds a BA in Hotel Administration from Washington State University and a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University.
