Greg Peters

Chairman, President and CEO

Greg oversees all of Zilliant’s operations, including its strategic direction, product planning and development, as well as its financial management. Under Greg’s leadership, Zilliant has grown into one of the leading providers in predictive B2B sales guidance and has pioneered new approaches for companies to harness the power of Big Data. Prior to Zilliant, Greg served as president and CEO of Vignette, the leading content management company and one of the most successful initial public offerings in 1999. He also served as president and chief executive officer of Logic Works, Inc. and controller and chief financial officer for Micrografx, Inc. Greg sits on the board of directors at Planview and LiquidFrameworks, and is an accomplished speaker who has appeared at numerous leading industry events.


Phil Anderson

Vice President of Sales, EMEA

Phil leads the Zilliant team of sales directors for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific region. He has ten years of experience bringing software-as-a-service (SaaS) models to market in the CRM, pricing and travel and expense spaces. As a seasoned sales leader, Phil thrives on delivering data-driven solutions to his clients that translate revenue, profit and go-to-market objectives into actionable guidance such as price recommendations and sales opportunities. Phil has previous experience in sales roles at Sawfish Software, Concur Technologies and KDS.


Pete Eppele

Senior Vice President of Products and Science

Pete brings 20 years of product strategy experience, helping Fortune 500 companies harness Big Data to improve business performance. As Senior Vice President of Products and Science, Pete is responsible for leading Zilliant’s R&D efforts and defining the product lifecycle and requirements. Prior to Zilliant, Pete served as Vice President of Product Marketing at Yclip. Prior to Yclip, Pete managed KD1’s highly scalable data mining and decision support applications used by Walgreens, Lowe’s Home Improvement and Pepsi/Frito Lay. He also worked at Kelly Information Systems where he oversaw product development and implementation of their multi-terabyte data warehouse analytics product line. In addition, Pete has worked in consulting and product development roles with Category Management, Inc. and Procter & Gamble. He earned his B.B.A. in Quantitative Analysis and Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati.


Eric Hills

Chief Evangelist and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Eric leads the marketing and sales teams for Zilliant, tapping into a deep passion for improving sales and marketing effectiveness. He has twenty years of experience in the design and delivery of innovative front office technologies. Prior to Zilliant, Eric was a general manager at Siebel Systems, responsible for the Partner Relationship Management and Incentive Compensation Management business units. Prior to Siebel, he founded Partnerware Inc. and established the company as a market leader in indirect channel management applications. He also worked for Chevron Chemical Company, and was a nuclear submarine officer in the United States Navy. Eric holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Clemson University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Texas where he won the prestigious MOOT CORP entrepreneurship competition.


Suraj Mohandas

Senior Director of Customer Success

Suraj leads the global Customer Success group, ensuring that Zilliant customers get the greatest long-term benefit from Zilliant’s solutions and innovations, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and retention. Suraj has worked for Zilliant for more than four years and is based in Austin. Prior to joining Zilliant, Suraj worked at Insight Enterprises in the Profitability department responsible for company-wide pricing strategies and margin enhancement initiatives. His experience spans multiple industries, including high-tech, distribution, food and beverage, paints and coatings, rental equipment, automotive parts, construction materials, shipping and electronic components. Suraj holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madras University, a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Marketing from Arizona State University, and is a Certified Six-Sigma Black Belt. Suraj's advanced degrees are centered around operations research and marketing with focus on the practical applications of price optimization models.


John O'Connor

Senior Vice President of Services

John leads Zilliant’s Services team, which is responsible for ensuring our customers derive value from Zilliant solutions and achieve planned financial improvements. John has worked in the SaaS world for the past 11 years with DemandTec and IBM. During that time, he helped multiple Fortune 500 customers go live with Big Data and analytics applications, including companies such as Walmart and Office Depot in the United States, Pao de Azucar in Latin America, and Casino in Europe. Before that, John managed a group of consultants at Ariba that built online marketplaces for business-to-business ecommerce. These marketplaces were backed by large companies such as Cargill and JC Penney. Prior to that, he worked for Deloitte Consulting. John earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.


Barrett Thompson

General Manager of Pricing Excellence Solutions

Barrett leads the Business Solutions Consultant team, aligning Zilliant solutions to customer needs and promoting pricing and sales best practices among our customers. Over the past two decades, Barrett has built and delivered optimization and pricing solutions to Fortune 500 businesses in diverse vertical industries including building materials manufacturing and distribution, industrial components manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, office-supply distribution, hardware-software distribution, pharmaceutical and medical-device distribution, telecommunications, and multiple travel & transportation verticals. He has held management positions at multiple software enterprises including Manugistics, Revenue Technologies, Talus Solutions and AtWork Technologies. Barrett is a frequent speaker and author on achieving rapid, sustainable profitability improvements through the application of pricing science. Barrett received both his Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and his Master of Science in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Beth Weeks

Senior Vice President of Engineering

Beth is responsible for developing innovative, scalable and world-class software products at Zilliant. She brings 27 years of experience building and leading highly productive software development organizations, with more than 15 years success in developing collaborative and effective global teams leveraging offshore partners. Prior to Zilliant, she was instrumental in leading Vignette Corporation through tremendous growth from small start-up organization to an enterprise market leader in the web content management market. Prior to Zilliant, Beth held several engineering leadership roles while working for Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama. Beth graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with degrees in both computer science and mathematics. Beth is an active contributor to software engineering academia by serving as an active member of Advisory Council to Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Kentucky and University of Texas Center of Lifelong Engineering Education.


Hossam Zaki

Vice President of Pricing Science

Hossam has more than 20 years of industry experience designing and deploying science-based technology across a variety of industries. Hossam is a member of Zilliant’s pricing science leadership team. Prior to Zilliant, Hossam served as a Technical Fellow at Trilogy and as Director of Operations Research at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Hossam has also worked at UNISYS Global Transportation as a Solutions Director and started his industry career at American Airlines (then SABRE) Decision Technologies, where he successfully led multi-million dollar projects for designing and deploying science-based decision support systems. Hossam has taught graduate level courses in mathematical optimization and is currently an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University. He holds a single-author U.S. patent, a Ph.D. in Operations Research from SMU, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University.

Frederick Brown

Group Vice President, North America

Fred leads the North America sales, sales operations and market development teams for Zilliant. He has more than 15 years of sales and solution leadership experience. Fred has a relentless focus on developing business strategies and approaches to improve the profitability of his clients. Prior to Zilliant, Fred held sales leadership roles at Manhattan Associates, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Numetrix. Fred has a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University.
