Zilliant is looking for an experienced and motivated marketer who will lead business intelligence, marketing operations and support a metrics driven marketing program. This role is responsible for the regular cadence of marketing performance reports, marketing budget management, database management, ensuring high integrity of marketing data and systems.

We seek a collaborative leader to contribute to a strong marketing analytics and reporting discipline and collaborate with all internal stakeholders.  The position requires experience with marketing B2B enterprise software, and enterprise IT environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with a cross-functional team including sales, product management, services, customer success and marketing.

The position is based in Austin and reports to the CMO.

Responsibilities Include:

Marketing Operations

Lead Management – Regularly collaborate with marketing demand generation and sales on the lead management process to ensure joint accountability of demand generation activities connected to business results.  Produce cadence of weekly and bi-weekly reports for different audiences to ensure marketing reporting and alignment with other functions.

Quarterly Marketing Performance Reporting

  • Standard lead management material plus longer-term trends, regional and rep distribution
  • Campaign performance
  • Budget vs actual reporting
  • Business modeling

Budget Management – Ensure marketing fiscal responsibility to the business by aligning with finance on marketing budget, managing to +/- 1% of budget

  • Monthly and quarterly review with finance as well as other marketing team members on their respective budget items
  • Bi-Annually work with the team to build out 6-month and 12-month budgets allocated to each marketing function

Database Management – Ensure high-integrity of marketing data and systems to enable smarter, data-driven decisions

  • Regularly enrich database with new accounts and contacts that fit our predictive account model and business strategy
  • Regularly audit database to refresh, de-dupe, and cleanse our account and contact data

Technology and Vendor Management – Facilitate vendor relations to maximize the benefit to our marketing performance

  • Oversee all vendor relations across Zilliant marketing to ensure strategic decision making, technology interoperability, data integrations and updates, contract management, and budget allocation
  • Participate across departments to prioritize projects, allocate budget, identify needs, evaluate and decide on solutions, manage implementation and ongoing support

Key Requirements:

  • Strong experience B2B technology environments, especially with SaaS industry
  • 10+ years’ experience in business intelligence, operations or finance roles required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across marketing and other functions
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce and other marketing and sales automation and analysis programs
  • Extensive experience with budget management
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Someone who brings energy and enthusiasm into the organization
