In this role, you will lead a team of talented operations engineers who are providing the highly available and scalable infrastructure for Zilliant. In order to provide this level of crucial service, you should possess strong technical leadership skills as well as ability to manage highly productive teams. You will be critical in this highly visible and collaborative role in elevating the Zilliant platform to solve commercial problems for some of the largest companies in the world.


Major Roles and Responsibilities Include:


  • Responsible for keeping Zilliant’s production environment highly available and performant and ensuring we have the scaling, redundancy, monitoring, alerting and deployment tools needed to execute on business goals
  • Provide visibility of hosting costs in order to correlate spend with objectives
  • Ensure security of data center is paramount with process in place for pen tests, scanning tools and audits
  • Mentor and grow a strong team of geographical diverse DevOps engineers
  • Provide technical direction and define metrics to measure and drive continuous improvement
  • Effective collaboration with stakeholders in other departments ensuring we are addressing top issues and providing visibility to progress


Key Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record as both an individual contributor and managing a team responsible for SaaS application in cloud infrastructure like AWS
  • Hands on experience managing large scale, highly available SaaS application
  • Experience managing a high caliber globally distributed technical team
  • Familiar with best in class DevOps technologies


Desirable Skills and Experience:


  • Experience with AWS in technology and billing capacity
  • Champion for lean/agile process
  • Customer/end user focused
  • Expose to Salesforce a plus
