The Zilliant Solutions group is focused on delivering all aspects of Zilliant’s breakthrough solution to its customers. Members of the Professional Services team work together in a project-based environment that has a significant consultative sales component to ensure that customers receive full benefits from our solution. All members of the team must acquire an in-depth understanding of Zilliant’s products and services and be effective in interacting with other parts of the organization including Product Management, Engineering, and Sales.



The ideal candidate for the position of Business Analyst will have a very strong quantitative and analytical background. Ability to use MS Access, BI tool (Tableau preferred), expertise with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and experience with relational databases; some experience with statistical analysis would be a plus. In addition, the candidate must have excellent written and oral communications skills to assist in turning sophisticated analyses into persuasive customer-ready documents.



The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities, be very flexible, and work well with others with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


A strong performer in the Business Analyst role can expect to grow into an Engagement Manager role or other roles within Zilliant where he/she will have full responsibility for project management and customer success. In addition, opportunities to take on project management and customer-facing activities will be given to the individual that demonstrates customer handling skills.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in all customer development activities including:

  • Develop product category structures to enable accurate demand modeling
  • Assist in creating customer presentations including project status, results meetings, and sales
  • Become fully knowledgeable of Zilliant solution and become fully independent in creating scenarios and delivering accurate analyses
  • Assist in resolution of any data issues relating to our modeling efforts
  • Develop sophisticated and persuasive analyses from customer data to support sales efforts and develop strong customer relationships
  • Assist in profiling and prioritizing new market opportunities

• Assist in a variety of other project based work that supports Professional Services ability to sell customers on the value of Zilliant and ensures our ability to deliver value to world-class distributors and manufacturers. Project work may include:

  • Assist in development and delivery of training materials to customers on Zilliant’s solutions
  • Ensure the funneling of customer feedback into the new product development process
  • Help turn breakthrough analyses into industry leading white papers

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and great comfort with handling vast quantities of data and summarizing meaningful insights

  • Facility with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Experience with Tableau (or another BI tool) and statistical application a strong plus
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with evidence of managing customer interaction in a business environment a plus
  • Fanatical attention to detail

Desired Experience:

  • Prefer experience with Big 4 or top tier management consulting firms
  • Business to Business Pricing and/or Big Data and BI/Analytics work experience
  • Knowledge or experience in Pricing


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, or technical
  • At least 3 years of work experience in quantitative and analytical data that will include expertise with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • English: Fluent
