Lead a highly skilled and experienced technical professional services team. The group includes a variety of roles and skillsets including architects, consultants, developers and quality assurance professionals located in the US, UK and Europe who serve customers worldwide.
Technical Leadership. As the most senior technologist in our Professional Services team, collaborate with the functional competencies to help us deliver timely, high quality projects with a healthy margin. Develop complimentary methodologies/tools and techniques that accelerate and simplify deployments and result in predictable solution performance and stability. Lead the creation of a set of tools to support the deployment methodology. Engage with projects, as needed, to guide team members during implementation of new product functionality and specialized customer needs. Be an escalation point for challenging implementation issues.
Personnel Management. Responsible for direct management oversight of the Professional Services Technical team. Structure the team’s size and roles to match business needs. Define the skills and responsibilities for each role and assess the skills of each team member. Build the team’s management leads. Manage the group’s project allocation, billable utilization across group and individuals. Provide individual coaching and feedback as needed. Identify the training needs of the team to support best practices and introduction of new product functionality.
Sales Support. Collaboratively engage with the Zilliant Sales team to work with prospects to provide best practice and solution design input.
Collaborate with Product Team. Collaborate with the Engineering and Product Management teams to provide prioritized product roadmap feedback. Through this close collaboration, also serve as a channel for diffusing new product capability out to your team. Be a channel for product issues.
Methodology. Develop the tools and processes to ensure high quality outcomes across the variety of technologies used by Zilliant’s Technical Professional Services team members.
Travel – Involves 15% travel.
