Zilliant, a provider of price optimization and management software for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial service companies, has announced the joining of Maria Carballosa as the new CMO. She will be looking after the growth strategies of the company as well as be in charge of demand generation, business intelligence, company positioning, and corporate communications.
Greg Peters, President and Chief Executive Officer, Zilliant, stated in a release, “We’re very excited to welcome Maria to our executive team to drive further growth for the company, leveraging her strategic, data-driven approach to marketing. Her extensive B2B marketing expertise will be critical as we position Zilliant as the world’s leading platform for maximizing the lifetime value of B2B customer relationships.”
Carballosa has more than 20 years of experience in leading marketing programs at some of the reputed technology companies around the globe. Prior to this, she was the CMO at the SaaS company, Drillinginfo. While at Drillinginfo, she had played an instrumental role in transforming the market function and drove business revenue while retaining customers all through the three years she spent there. Before that, she was at Dell, Freescale, and Honeywell in a number of marketing leadership roles.
Excited about her new role, Carballosa stated that the Zilliant platform has impacted business performance and is one of the SaaS providers for sales and price optimization to B2B companies. She also added that the company has a unique platform and a possibility for tremendous growth.
